Hurricane and Flood Insurance Claims
Attorney Cate Biggs focuses on representing people who are dealing with complex insurance issues, including claims related to Hurricane Harvey and other Texas storms. As someone with an insurance policy for your home or business, you rely on that insurance when catastrophic events occur. Unfortunately, some claims get undervalued, under paid or not paid at all.
Ms. Biggs has obtained more than $100 million on behalf of clients who have had their insurance claims undervalued. She fights tirelessly and aggressively on behalf of her clients, and she doesn't rest until the best possible results have been reached. She's worked as lead attorney on thousands of cases, in both Federal and state courts in Texas, New York and Louisiana.
Ms. Biggs attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas as an undergraduate, where she graduated with honors. She earned her law degree from South Texas College of Law, where she attended with a merit-based academic scholarship and graduated summa cum laude. At law school, she was included on the Dean's Honor List. She passed the Texas Bar before graduating law school, and she was the only person in her class to do so.
A dedicated and passionate law student, Ms. Biggs was a member of the Mock Trial and Moot Court programs. She was chosen "Best Speaker" at the Garland R. Walker Mock Trial Competition.
Originally from Southern California, Ms. Biggs is proud to now call Texas her home. She has lived here for almost two decades.
