A federal judge will decide today whether to approve a plea deal related to criminal charges faced by BP for its role in the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill. In November, BP agreed to plead guilty to criminal charges stemming from the deaths of 11 workers killed on the Deepwater Horizon rig and for lying to Congress.
