Tens of thousands of strollers and cribs sold at retailers in Alabama and nationwide have been recalled because these defective products pose risks of severe injuries or even death to infants. Bugaboo Cameleon3 Stroller Recall
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Bugaboo is recalling its Cameleon3 strollers, which feature carrying handles that can break and detach during use, posing a fall hazard to infants.
The affected strollers include Cameleon3 models with serial numbers ranging from “19010 11153 00001” to “19010 51248 00215.” These strollers were sold at retailers including Buy Buy Baby, Toys R Us, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom as well as online from September 2012 to March 2013. PT Domusindo Perdana Crib Recalls
The CPSC also announced that PT Domusindo Perdana is recalling about 73,000 drop-side cribs because the sides can malfunction or detach and fall out of position, posing a risk of entrapment, strangulation and suffocation.
This recall affects 14 models of cribs made by PT Domusindo Perdana and sold at JC Penney stores and online from January 1998 through December 2008.
