In an accident on Bear Creek Pike, three vehicles collided and left two dead. The accident occurred two days before Christmas and left 45-year-old Booker T. Cower Jr. of Madison, Alabama and 26-year-old Brandon Keither Burroughs of Maury County dead. The other person involved in the accident was a 25-year-old female that was taken to Maury Regional Medical Center, reportedly with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred nearly three miles to the west of I-65 and forced traffic to move at a slow pace for the majority of the morning. While the accident is still under investigation, the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Critical Incident Response Team aided the local police in clearing the accident and will also aid in determining who was at fault.
